An update on our lockdown shipping terms and conditions

We have been certified by the Ministry of Business to provide you with Winter Essentials that will keep you warm, safe, and comfortable during lockdown.

Like everyone in New Zealand right now, myself and the team at Elle + Riley have been doing our best to keep up with all the instructions, limitations and guidance received from the various government departments on a daily basis.

Having first closed our brick and mortar stores and our online store for the lockdown period, we later sought clarification from the government after seeing larger retailers begin selling wool products and other items designed to keep people warm. After explaining what specific products we sold that met the criteria on the MBIE website we received approval for those items as essential goods. These goods are clearly marked on the Elle + Riley website as essentials.

We are doing everything we can to protect our customers, our staff, and our couriers by following the advice and guidelines set by the NZ Government and the W.H.O. to reduce the chance of spreading the virus.

We will have only one person designated to processing orders who is following H&S protocol including PPE and regular sanitisation of the working environment. 

We have contactless pick ups arranged with our courier drivers with no face-to-face interaction. 

Our couriers have also introduced safer measures for delivery to you at this time. Couriers will knock on the door, but then wait a safe distance for you to open the door. They will ask for your name as confirmation without signature and leave the parcel on the doorstep.
